Enter the world of L-shaped gaming desks! As the name suggests, L-shaped desks

Enter the world of L-shaped gaming desks!

As the name suggests, L-shaped desks form the shape of an "L." These desks have a large centerpiece, not much unlike a regular gaming desk, accompanied by a secondary short desk. The shorter desk may also be detachable and can be stored in storage when not needed.

As you can imagine, L-shaped desks make very efficient use of space and pack quite a lot of surface area in a compact package. As such, they’re especially ideal for small rooms and tight spaces.

Yes. L-shaped desks are ideal for gaming. They tuck away in a corner and take up very little space. Yet despite that, they tend to be far more spacious than regular desks. They’re ideal for people with a multi-monitor gaming setup or who own both a PC and a console.

So what is the best L-shaped gaming desk?

While relatively new to the game, the interest in L-shaped gaming desks has grown exponentially in recent years. And to meet the immense demand for these desks, the market has saturated itself gradually yet steadily, and now dozens of brands offer them in their catalogs.

Here, our ultimate goal was to find the best L-shaped gaming desks in the market, test every single one under various gaming and non-gaming scenarios, and handpick the best.

As always, we started our homework from Reddit. Subreddits like r/PCMasterRace, r/PCGaming, r/PCSetup, and r/BuildaPC—as well as various popular PC gaming-centric forums—were visited by our team to collect first-hand user feedback.

After weeks of research, we narrowed our list to fifteen L-shaped gaming desks. Once we finally got our hands on the desks, we tested them in various scenarios to evaluate their various aspects, such as load capacity, sturdiness, durability, visual aesthetics, and overall spaciousness and ergonomics.

And after months of rigorous testing, we narrowed our list to the eight best L-shaped gaming desks. So, without further ado, let's review the best L-shaped gaming desks currently available.

Eureka Ergonomics L60 gaming desk is by far the best L-shaped gaming desk we tested, and for several good reasons.

The Eureka L60 is a medium-sized desk with a dimension of 23.62 x 60 x 30 inches (Depth x Width x Height). While not the largest gaming desk in this test, it's still spacious enough for dual or triple-monitor setups.

In terms of construction, the Eureka Ergonomic L60 has a solid metal frame that's exceptionally sturdy and rigid with no flex or squeaks. In terms of carrying capacity, Eureka claims the L60 desk has a maximum weight capacity of up to 170 pounds, which is more than adequate for even the heaviest gaming setups.

As for the build quality, fit, and finish, the tabletop is made of CARB 2-compliant MDF, which is essentially composite wood. But since composite wood doesn't look too aesthetically pleasing, the tabletop has a sleek carbon fiber surface for a cool, super ‘gamery’ look.

The one thing that makes the Eureka L60 stand apart from most gaming desks is its built-in cable management support. The sides of the desk have grooves specifically designed to tuck away cables. The desk also features an integrated power strip holder to sweeten the deal.

In testing, we enjoyed our time with the Eureka L60 gaming desk. It looks sleek and cool, offers ample room for a multi-monitor gaming setup and your laptop or a console, and the cable management system takes care of all visual clutter.

Overall, the Eureka Ergonomics L60 is our top gaming desk.

People on a very tight budget would be hard-pressed to find a better bang for the buck than Homall L-Shaped Gaming Desk. However, for the price, it manages to check a lot of boxes.

In terms of size, the Homall L-Shaped Gaming Desk is available in two different sizes: 51 inches and 58 inches. The 51-inch variant has a dimension of 17 x 50.4 x 27.5 inches, while the 58-inch variant comes in at 22.8 x 58 x 28.9 inches (Depth x Width x Height).

The desk is also available in several colors: pink, black, blue, classical black, classical brown, and, lastly, classical white. It doesn't matter what your room's color scheme is; you’re bound to find a color to enhance the aesthetics of your room. For reference, we ordered the 51-inch Black variant.

Despite the budget-friendly price tag, the base of the desk is made of solid aluminum that feels solid and sturdy. The desk also features adjustable foot pads and a monitor shelf which can be affixed on either side of the desk or taken off entirely if desired.

Unfortunately, the build quality is where the Homall L-Shaped Gaming Desk shows its budget nature. The tabletop is made of plywood material, which doesn't feel as premium as other desks in this list. Nonetheless, the desk is covered with faux carbon fiber material to make it look reasonably presentable.

In testing, we found the desk surprisingly good, despite its few trade-offs. The desk felt nice, strong, and sturdy, with plenty of space. Overall, it's very well built. The only downside is the cheap tabletop material that leaves something to be desired.

But given its budget-friendly price tag, we can't complain too much.

Gamers looking for a flashy and stylish L-shaped gaming desk should consider Eureka Ergonomic GTG L60 RGB LED Glass Gaming Desk.

First, let's talk about the dimension. The Eureka Ergonomic GTG L60 is on the larger side at 40 x 60 x 30 inches (Depth x Width x Height). However, it's 16.38 inches wider than Eureka Ergonomics’ L60 in terms of depth (40 inches versus 23.62 inches), and even that desk is very spacious.

The build quality and construction are where the Eureka GTG L60 shines. The base of the desk is made of a sturdy steel frame that's exceptionally stiff and sturdy. The tabletop is made of high gloss black tempered glass 6mm thick and much tougher than standard non-tempered glass.

The highlight of this desk is, without a doubt, the RGB LEDs located beneath the tempered glass tabletop. The lights have 27 music sync modes, and you can choose between various modes such as multicolor static, music-synced RGB effects, a ten-spectrum cycle mode, and a sleep mode.

You can control the lights via either the RGB button controller at the bottom of the tabletop or the "Eureka Light App" available on both Google PlayStore and Apple App Store. Other features include a rotatable cup holder, a power strip holder, and a dual headset hook.

Unfortunately, yet rather unsurprisingly, all these features come at a cost. Eureka Ergonomic GTG L60 is our test's most expensive L-Shaped gaming desk. It costs several times more than our test's budget Homall L-Shaped Gaming Desk.

But overall, the Eureka Ergonomic GTG L60 is worth every penny.

Bestier L-Shaped Desk is a highly customizable and versatile gaming desk that can be set up in any manner you desire.

Let's start with the size and overall dimensions. The Bestier L-shaped desk is an average-sized desk with a dimension of 23.6 x 55.1 x 39.1 inches (Depth x Width x Height). The exciting thing about the Bestier desk is that it can be set up as an 86.6-inch long surface if you so desire.

Since Bestier is a highly adjustable desk with a foldable design, the desk's small table or ‘shelves’ are reversible, and you can place them in any configuration you can think of, which is more than we can say for most L-shaped desks.

In terms of build quality and construction, the Bestier L-Shaped Desk's desktop is made of CARB-certified P2 Class wood that's incredibly sturdy and durable. The base is also a solid metal alloy that feels exceptionally nice, sturdy, and premium.

The use of premium materials makes this Bestier desk a bit heavy. It is, in fact, one of the heaviest desks in this test, weighing 63.8 pounds or hair under 29 kilograms. As a result, moving this desk while it's assembled can be very difficult.

Apart from weight, a few things keep the Bestier L-Shaped Gaming Desk from being perfect. For starters, there's no cable raceway to hide the cables, nor is there any placement to mount gaming headsets or even something as basic as the power strip. However, there are three cable holes located at each corner.

We loved the Bestier L-Shaped Gaming Desk for its versatility and solid build quality. However, we wish the table had a proper cable management system, like most other tables in this test.

Gamers looking for a large, spacious L-Shaped gaming desk, big enough to hold all of their gaming gear in one place, should consider the Sedeta L-Shaped Gaming Desk.

In terms of size and dimensions, the Sedeta L-Shaped Gaming Desk is quite large at 19.7 x 67 x 57 inches (Depth x Width x Height). The considerable height is due to the storage shelf that's 7.9 inches high and wide with a length of 14.2 inches.

The desk can also be assembled as a straight desk with a maximum desktop length of 94.5 inches. All that extra space makes the Sedeta L-Shaped Gaming Desk the best option for people who own a high-end PC with a three-monitor setup or even a five-monitor setup.

As for the build quality, the Sedeta L-Shaped Gaming Desk has an all-metal frame. The tabletop and the shelves are made of half-inch wood panels that feel solid and sturdy. The table is offered in four colors: Black, Grey, Rustic Brown, and White.

In terms of features, the desk is available with RGB LED lights with up to 60K colors, a key control, and a dedicated app that you can download from either Google PlayStore or Apple AppStore. As for the storage space, the desk is offered with a keyboard tray and a storage bag.

Our review unit arrived in Black, and we were genuinely impressed by Sedeta Gaming Desk's storage space. It was large enough to hold our multi-monitor gaming setup and our PS5 console.

All in all, Sedeta L-Shaped Gaming Desk is a fantastic desk ideal for people who want to squeeze a large desk in a minimal space.

Uneven floors can prove to be a significant hurdle for most gaming desks. However, SHW L-Shaped Computer Gaming Desk is an exception.

But let's start from the beginning. In terms of dimensions, the SHW Gaming Desk is slightly on the shorter side at 51 x 51 x 28.5 inches (Depth x Width Height). While the 51-inch width is large enough for standard 16:9 monitors, or even 21:9 ultrawide monitors, it may be a little cramped for multi-monitor setups.

The SHW L-Shaped Computer Gaming Desk has a stainless steel frame with powder coated finish. As for the weight distribution, the desk has an extremely low center of gravity, which means it stays planted on the ground.

The desktop is made of fiberwood and is available in two finishes dubbed ‘Espresso’ and ‘Walnut.’ And aside from that, the desk is very barebones and minimalistic. However, one feature that makes it stand apart from the rest is its adjustable leg glides.

Those adjustable leg glides make it an excellent desk for uneven floors (we tested it on our unfurnished garage floor). Each desk comes with six adjustable glides, so it doesn't matter how uneven your floor is; the SHW Computer Gaming Desk's Height can be adjusted in any way you desire.

In short, we found the SHW L-Shaped Computer Gaming Desk to be the best option for uneven floors.

Drawers on a gaming desk are ideal for storing your gaming peripherals and keeping the overall appearance of the desk neat and tidy. And gamers explicitly looking for an L-Shaped gaming desk with a dedicated drawer should consider the CubiCubi Modern L-Shaped Gaming Desk.

When it comes to overall size, the CubiCubi Desk is just about average at 47.1 x 59.1 x 39.3 inches (Depth x Width x Height), which makes it about as big as the Eureka Ergonomics’ L60. As such, it's large enough for multi-monitor gaming stations. However, there's also a larger 67″ variant with a dimension of 47.2 x 66.9 x 28.7 inches.

The frame of the CubiCubi Modern L-Shaped Gaming Desk is made of solid metal with a triangle strut to enhance the overall stability of the desk. The desk's table top is made of ‘engineered’ wood, and the desk also comes with an optional monitor stand.

The CubiCubi Desk is available in four colors. There's the standard Black color, as well as ‘Dark Rustic,’ ‘Rustic Brown,’ and ‘White.’ For reference, our test unit came in Black with a desk width of 59.1 inches.

And as we mentioned previously, the CubiCubi Desk comes with a spacious drawer on the corner table. The drawer has a height of 15.7 inches and a depth of 19.7 inches, so you can easily store your gaming peripherals, such as controllers, headsets, etc., in there without issues.

Looking for an L-Shaped gaming desk that will last you a long time? Consider the Coles home L Shaped Computer Desk! A solid and sturdy desk is built like a tank and designed to last a long time.

In terms of size, the Coleshome L-Shaped Computer Desk has a dimension of 66 x 47.2 x 29.5 inches (Depth x Width x Height). When it comes to the frame, the desk has a very thick and sturdy, high-quality base. In addition, the desktop is made of particle board that's water resistant as well as anti-scratch.

When it comes to colors, the Coleshome L-Shaped Computer Desk is available in three options: Black, Vintage (Brown), and White. There's also a smaller 59-inch variant with a dimension of 59 x 47.2 x 29.5 inches (Depth x Width x Height), although we highly recommend the larger 66-inch variant for the best gaming experience.

The Coleshome L-Shaped Computer Desk also has a decent amount of storage under the desk. There's a 2-layer storage shelf that you can use to store books, files, and other similar small items. But aside from that, the Coleshome desk doesn't have much else going on for it.

Overall, Coleshome L-Shaped Computer Desk is an excellent, sturdy desk for people looking to invest in a long-lasting and durable gaming desk.

Yes, you can make a large L-shaped desk by combining two regular desks. To merge them entirely, you can use flat brackets and screw them together.

However, you have to consider a few things with this method. For one, you’ve to ensure that the desks you’re putting together are equal in Height. Even a minor difference in Height will make for an uneven tabletop.

Secondly, putting two separate desks together in an L-shape will prevent you from sitting in the middle, as the tables’ columns will get in the way of your legs. On the other hand, L-Shaped desk columns are explicitly placed to allow you to sit in the middle of the desk.

Once you’ve received the L-Shaped gaming desk of your choice, it's time to assemble it. Here are a few things that you must keep in mind before proceeding with the assembly:

Inspect the Packaging

First, carefully inspect the packaging for any damage. Make sure the table arrives in a complete, undamaged condition. Otherwise, return the item and request a refund.

Unbox the Contents

Now unbox the package contents and carefully place them onto the floor. If the components are numbered or alphabetized, organize them sequentially to expedite the assembly process.

Read the Instructions Manual

The instructions manual is by far the most essential piece of the puzzle. Thoroughly read the instructions manual carefully before attempting to assemble the table. Here, you can also highlight the critical steps for future reference.

Prepare the Tools

The next step is to gather all the tools that you’ll need during the assembly process and keep them at hand. Refer to the instructions manual to see what tools you’ll need. This will ensure that you won't get distracted while assembling the table.

Assemble the Table

With tools at hand and all of the table's equipment laid out neatly, start the assembly procedure as per the instructions manual. Don't rush it; take your time, and refer to the instructions manual periodically to ensure you’re getting all the steps right.

And voilà! Your new gaming desk is now assembled and ready to use!

To choose the best L-Shaped Gaming Desk for Gaming, you’ve to consider the following aspects:

While bigger isn't always better, it's generally the case when it comes to gaming desks. Larger desks offer more desktop space for your monitor, gaming peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse, sound system, microphone, and gaming PC itself.

Make sure the desk you’re about to buy isn't too big for your room or gaming den, and you should be fine.

The second most crucial factor is ergonomics. Make sure the desk you’re about to buy is either appropriate for your height or can be height and tilt adjusted.

Choosing a table that's either too short or tall for your body frame may cause neck and back-related pains.

Gaming desks come in various materials, and choosing the right material is very important.

Shelves and drawers are essential if you intend to use your gaming desk for gaming, work, or study. Some gaming desks come with shelves and drawers, doubling as bookshelves and work desks.

Additional features such as RGB lighting effects and integrated cable management—while not necessarily mandatory—can dramatically boost and enhance the visual aesthetics of your gaming setup.

Gaming desks tend to be far more customizable than regular office desks. For example, they offer height and incline adjustability, and some desks even come with built-in cable management and RGB LEDs for an aesthetically pleasing, neat, and tidy look.

No. Corner desks are different from L-Shaped desks. They tend to be much smaller and shorter and come in a triangular design. On the other hand, L-shaped desks tend to be much larger, spacious, and—as the name suggests—come in the shape of an "L."

Yes. L-Shaped desks are more ergonomic than straight desks because of their 90-degree angular design, which offers superior visibility, and in turn, less eye and neck strain. This is especially true if you have an ultra-wide monitor or a multi-monitor setup.

Yes. Some L-shaped desks are reversible, i.e., they allow you to swap and place the small desk on either the left or right side of the large center desk. This feature is convenient for left-handers as most L-shaped desks are designed with right-handers in mind.

Ideally, you should place your PC on the bottom shelf of your desk. This placement not only reduces visual clutter but also makes cable management more manageable and enables you to easily access power/restart buttons, external USB ports, etc., typically located at the top of most PC chassis.

Yes, you can put an L-shaped desk in the middle of a room and use it like any standard desk. However, that's not the intended purpose of L-shaped desks, as they’re meant to be placed in a corner, so it's recommended to place a straight desk in the middle of a room instead.

Ideally, yes, but not necessarily. L-shaped desks are designed with versatility in mind, and you can use them in any manner you desire. So, if you prefer sitting in the middle of an L-shaped desk instead, then there's no reason not to do so. You’d be just as comfortable either way.

And with that, our comprehensive look at the best L-shaped gaming desks concludes. As you may have already noticed, each desk has its merits and demerits, hence why we have categorized them in various categories, each explicitly catering to a different user base.

Our top pick overall is, without a doubt, the Eureka Ergonomic L60 L-Shaped Gaming Desk. The Eureka Ergonomic L60 is a highly versatile gaming desk that will tick most (if not all) of the checkboxes in most people's lists.

It's a sturdy, spacious, ergonomic, and highly durable gaming desk with smooth lines and a stylish look guaranteed to complement your sleek gaming rig!
